The planned development involves the construction of a dormer dwelling house, front boundary wall with entrance, effluent treatment system and all associated siteworks at Fadden More, Carraig, Birr. Three test-trenches were excavated across the footprint of the dwelling and ancillary works and a fourth was orientated north–south along the route of the driveway. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed.
