Pre-development test-trenching was carried out on 5 March 2008 of a site at Lismoran, Callow, Co. Mayo. The proposed development is located c. 50m north-west of MA061–087 and adjoining MA061–086 and MA061–215. Seven test-trenches were opened across the proposed development site. No evidence for archaeological material or cultural layers pre-dating the 19th century was observed in any area of the proposed development site.
