Testing was carried out within a development consisting of a 3151m2 multi-occupancy office building with semi-basement car parking at Corrahoor, Kiltimagh. Construction on the site was already well under way before an archaeologist was contacted. The site was in the vicinity of MA080–014, the Lisnameenagh ecclesiastical complex. Topsoil and a considerable depth of subsoil had been removed across most of the site. A single trench was excavated adjacent to the Swinford Road at the west end of the development site. There was some topsoil/subsoil remaining in a band c. 5m (east–west) by 80m across this portion of the site. No archaeological finds or features were exposed during the course of excavating the trench. Examination of exposed sections around the edges of the site revealed a topsoil layer of mid-brown sandy silt ranging from 0.3–0.5m in depth. No evidence for any archaeological finds or features was detected during the examination of sections.
