Pre-development testing was carried out at a proposed development of a single-storey dwelling and associated services in the townland of Cloonacannana, Swinford, Co. Mayo. The site is located in the vicinity of an enclosure (MA062–028). Testing involved the mechanical excavation of four trenches and revealed nothing of archaeological significance.
