Testing was carried out in advance of development on 24–29 September 2008 near to an enclosure, MA062–072. Topsoil was removed from the greenfield areas of the site using a mechanical digger with a toothless bucket. All these areas were excavated to undisturbed subsoil. Extensive modern disturbance was evidenced in most of the area. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered by this excavation.
