An assessment by means of test-trenching was carried out on the site of a proposed water treatment plant at Cavan Hill, Stephenstown, Dundalk, Co. Louth, on 21 February 2008. The site is located adjacent to LH012–001, site of enclosures. Six test-trenches were excavated at locations proposed for ground disturbance. No archaeological features were discovered during the assessment.
