Testing of a site at Wallace’s Pharmacy, Sarsfield Street, Kilmallock, was requested. The proposed development site is within the zone of archaeological potential (ZAP) for the historic town of Kilmallock (LI047–022). Due to the limited space available one test-trench was excavated. There were no features or finds of archaeological significance identified within this trench.
