Monitoring took place of demolition and groundworks associated with the proposed alterations and redevelopment of a property on Lower Main Street, Kilfinnane, Co. Limerick, on 17 and 18 April 2008. The site is adjacent to a ruined church site (LI048–058). No evidence was found for the incorporation of any archaeological material in the construction of the building. The groundwork trenches reached a maximum depth of 0.6m. No material of any archaeological significance was uncovered.
