A proposed telecommunications structure would be constructed on a hilltop (162m OD) at Gortnacreha Upper, Kilmeedy. The proposed development would consist of the construction of a 24m high monopole within a 12m by 12m compound. The site would be accessed by a newly constructed access route, c. 30m in length. Monitoring revealed the site to consist of topsoil directly sealing geologically deposited strata. No archaeological features or artefacts were revealed as a result of the monitoring.
