Kilkenny County Council requested an impact assessment at the former Bank of Ireland garden, Lower Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, as further information in advance of a decision on a planning application for a community development. The site was positioned at the rear of a former burgage plot inside the town wall. Testing failed to uncover anything of archaeological significance within the cuttings opened.
