Trial-trenching was carried out at the site of a single-house development on 8 March 2008, close to St Coman’s Church and its associated graveyard, in the centre of Kinvara town. Three trial-trenches were excavated at the site and no archaeological features were recovered. Two redeposited fragments of human bone were revealed in one trench. Monitoring was carried out on the limited groundworks associated with the development in August 2008 and further redeposited bone was discovered at the western limit of a foundation trench, close to the entrance to the graveyard, but it was not disturbed.
