A proposed dwelling and associated features at Cave, Caherlistrane, necessitated twelve pre-development test-trenches in those areas of maximum disturbance. The proposed works are located at least 90m to the west of an enclosure, now no longer in evidence. No feature of archaeological significance could be seen from testing.
