The proposed works comprised the construction of 1160m of carriageway from Ongar Road to tie in with the existing R149 Leixlip–Clonee Road, with upgrade of an existing link road between R149 and R121. A total of 84 test-trenches were mechanically excavated. These trenches had a combined length of 2791.9.m resulting in a total excavated area of 6002.9m2. No archaeological finds or features were recorded during the assessment.
