Testing (February 2008) at a housing development at Tullyarvan, Buncrana, Donegal, revealed a site heavily disturbed in recent times with the topsoil removed, trees uprooted and dumps of modern building and other modern materials. Drainage channels cut into the natural clay were the only other evidence of past human activity revealed by the test-trenching. No features/deposits or finds of archaeological significance were discovered during the course of testing.
