Monitoring of a single residential unit and ancillary works in a rural zone at Milltown, Charleville, took place on 18 August 2008. Topsoil was stripped from a 1140m2 area. The site of development is situated 40m west of CO002–100 (ringfort) and partially within its constraint zone. No features of archaeological or historical significance were encountered at the site of the development.
