Testing was undertaken at Maulnagirra, Leap, Co. Cork, to fulfil a planning condition. The developer received planning permission to construct a farm building with associated works. The site of a ringfort and souterrain (CO133–5101 and CO133–5102) was located c. 80m south-east of the development site. The topsoil was removed from the entire area of the footprint of the building. No archaeological stratigraphy, features or artefacts were recorded in the footprint of the new building.
