Testing was undertaken in May in compliance with a request for further information about a proposed residential development. The site is located to the east of the village of Stradone. There are no known monuments located within, or in the general environs of, the site and no surface traces of potential were noted during an initial surface reconnaissance survey.
A total of fourteen trenches of varying length and orientation were excavated by machine within the site. Nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered during the course of these works.
