An archaeological evaluation was carried out at a site c. 255m south of 92 Feystown Road, Dunteige, Glenarm, Co. Antrim, as part of a planning application for a new dwelling. A well-preserved wedge tomb set within an oval cairn (ANT035–002) is situated 300m south-south-east of the application site, and c. 300m north-east of the site is another megalithic tomb (ANT035–030).
The evaluation consisted of five mechanically excavated test-trenches, one measuring 30m by 1.5m, two measuring 25m by 1.5m and two measuring 20m by 1.5m. Two trenches contained some evidence of agricultural activity, such as signs of spade cultivation and field drains, although no features of archaeological significance were uncovered.
