Five areas of archaeological significance were identified at this site. Area A contained an intermittent slot-trench, measuring c. 23m by c. 17m, with a north–south orientation. Sherds of pottery (preliminarily dated to the Neolithic) were found associated with the trench. In Area B was a north–south-orientated 19th-century field boundary. Area C contained three pits of unknown date. Area E was an inter-drumlin hollow containing a series of prehistoric features. These include an artefact-rich spread of material. Artefacts recovered included decorated pottery and a flint hollow scraper. This area had not yet been completed at the time of writing. In Area F a collection of pits, post- and stake-holes defined the limits of a Neolithic house, measuring c. 7.5m north–south by c. 5.5m. Sherds of pottery were associated with some of these features. A metalled surface was also noted in this area.
Post-excavation analysis had yet to begin at the time of writing.
