This project is ongoing. In November 2008 topsoil was mechanically removed from the remainder of Ballyclan Rath, Co Antrim, a portion of which was excavated in 2006 (Excavations 2006, No. 11, AE/06/140). The excavation of the exposed strata is to commence in February 2009. The results of this excavation will be reported in the next bulletin.
