Non-disturbance underwater archaeological assessment took place of a 446m stretch of the Leitrim River, Wicklow town. The assessment area is located immediately adjacent to the South Quay of Wicklow Harbour. Systematic visual inspection and magnetometer survey of the riverbed and the attendant quayside was undertaken along a 490m (east–west) by 25m area. No archaeologically significant material, structures or deposits were revealed within the survey area at this location.
