Testing at this site revealed a series of homogenous medieval soils which were to be removed for the construction of a basement. Removal of the soils resulted in the discovery of a post and wattle structure. This feature, likely to be a house, was found in association with 13th/14th-century pottery. An entrance and hearth were identified within the structure.
