Site 8 along the proposed realignment of the N30 roadway, in the townland of Templescoby, Co. Wexford, included pockets of peat and a large burnt spread. The pockets of peat were natural occurrences in this boggy area. The burnt spread was redeposited material placed during the reclamation of the swampland, probably excavated from the adjacent drainage ditch. This site was composed primarily of redeposited materials placed during the reclamation of the boggy area for agricultural purposes.
