The site works in Murntown village were undertaken in September 2007 on behalf of Murintown Community Childcare Ltd, which is intending to undertake the demolition of a single-storey health centre and the construction of a two-storey childcare facility. Two trenches were excavated totalling 32.3m. No archaeological material was encountered during the site works.
