Testing at this site was carried out in response to a request from the local authority. The development site contains the remains of WX020–033, an enclosure site. The enclosure has an east to west measurement of c. 45m and is oval in shape. Testing revealed the ditch to be 3m in width and the upper fill was a soft silty sand. Other features, such as concentrations of pits and truncated spreads of burnt-mound material, were also present throughout the areas tested.
