Test-trenching was carried out as part of further information for a single-house development at Cleristown, Newcastle, Co. Wexford, within the zone of potential for a tower-house. A series of trenches were subsequently excavated by mechanical digger at the house site, entrance and percolation area. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed.
