Monitoring at this site was carried out in response to planning conditions. The remains of a truncated burnt spread were uncovered in close proximity to the Bishop’s Water stream which flows into Wexford town. The spread and its associated features were excavated. A subrectangular trough with stake-holes in the corners was the only notable feature, although the burnt spread was seen to continue outside of the area under development.
