An assessment undertaken in 2006 (Insight Archaeology) as part of a request for further information under planning ref 01/1405 identified the need for archaeological investigations at this location. The test trench excavated was to complete the last phase of development. Seven houses had been constructed and monitoring of the final house foundations was completed on 15 March, 2007. No features, material or deposits of an archaeological nature were discovered during the course of this work.
