This site was tested as part of the pre-construction archaeological mitigation of the N25 Waterford bypass (western link road). A single test-trench was excavated and revealed the presence of an oval-shaped pit fill with dark-grey/black sandy clay and heat-shattered stone. It may represent an isolated episode of activity or it may be related to a nearby site situated outside the western link road to the west.
