Testing of a proposed development site was carried out as part of an assessment. The development consisted of the construction of eighteen dwelling houses and associated services on a greenfield site at Villierstown, Cappoquin, Co. Waterford. A number of test-trenches were excavated on the site but no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
