Testing was required as part of an assessment prior to the development of a new house at Kilronan, Butlerstown. The site lay adjacent to WA017–010, ecclesiastical remains. Five trenches were excavated by mechanical excavator in August 2007. No finds or features of potential archaeological significance were uncovered in the course of the testing.
