The site was located within a farm complex at Woodinstown, Co. Tipperary. It encompassed an area of 3276m2 and resided on mostly level ground at 100m OD. The development involved the construction of a number of agricultural buildings with ancillary works. A pre-development assessment was conducted in August 2006. It identified requirement for monitoring of groundworks. This was in recognition of its proximity to a tower-house, TS069–063. Monitoring took place on 28 and 29 May 2007 and no finds or features of archaeological significance were exposed.
