This site was identified during testing along the route of the proposed N7 Castletown to Nenagh road improvement scheme. Excavation was carried out in September 2007. One area was stripped of topsoil. A roadway comprised of closely set small to medium-sized stones and loosely compacted clay ran in a south-west to north-east direction for c. 17m through the area. The road surface was 2m wide and 0.12–0.15m deep. One fragment of animal bone lay in the lens between topsoil and the stone. One iron fragment was recovered from between the stones. The path is probably relatively modern and appears to run from an opening in the field boundary to the south-west towards similar openings to the north-east possibly leading to a now disused quarry.
