The work was undertaken to determine the archaeological potential of an area of ancillary works associated with the N7 Nenagh to Limerick dual carriageway. The proposed development site is located in the townland of Killalane, Chainage 161100, to the east of Cappadine. It lies c. 0.5km to the south-west of a zone of archaeological potential for a fulacht fiadh, TN025–070. Five trenches were excavated on the proposed development site. No archaeology was identified during testing.
