A series of test-trenches were excavated to follow potential archaeological features detected during a geophysical survey of the site (07R0048). The site lies at the edge of the constraint zone of TS043–048, a burial-ground (possible). No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
