This site at Fadden More, Carrig, Birr, was located in the same townland as that in which an important psalter was recently recovered from a bog. The site works were undertaken in June 2007 prior to the construction of single dwelling house and associated works. The site encroaches on the constraint area of a tree ring (TN005–029), located 35m east of the development. Three trenches totalling 90m were excavated. No features of archaeological interest were identified.
