Additional excavation took place in January 2007 in advance of the construction of the M8/N8 Cullahill to Cashel road scheme. Prior excavation was carried out by Valerie J. Keeley Ltd in 2006 (Excavations 2006, No. 1843). Work consisted of a single linear test-trench adjacent to the road-take and alongside Area 9D. Excavation revealed the remains of a modern field boundary and a modern field drain; however, no other archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered.
