This site was excavated in advance of the N7 Nenagh to Limerick road project at Chainage 25900. Excavations were carried out between 30 March and 23 April 2007. The site was located on a plateau in the foothills of the Arra Mountains and overlooking the Kilmastulla Valley to the east.
A spread of burnt stone measuring 5m by 1.6m was located adjacent to six pits with burnt-stone fills. The site had been disturbed by a modern building and was cut by a sewer. The largest of the pits measured 7.44m by 3.07m and was 0.49m deep whilst the smallest was 2.6m by 1.98m and 0.34m deep. The most notable feature was a pit that was subrectangular in plan with steep sides and a flat base, which measured 2.8m by 2.1m and was 0.6m deep. Evidence of the original timber lining was seen in the form of post-holes in three of the corners. No artefacts were recovered from the site and the activity is undated.
