Seven trenches were opened on the imprint of a house site at Kilnanooan townland. A large number of monuments are located in the vicinity of the development site with a well, ‘Toberroghoor’, c. 50m south of the site. No archaeological remains or features were found in any of the test-trenches. Evidence was found for land-improvement activity in the form of land drains and there were also some traces of agricultural furrows.
