A large-scale proposed housing development at Carricknagat, Four Roads, had its ground pre-tested with 35 trenches. The site of a megalithic tomb is now occupied by the septic tank of a nearby community centre. A 15m2 around this septic tank was test-excavated. Nothing from the test excavation or these test-trenches yielded anything of archaeological significance.
