An impact assessment of proposed development work at this site was required as further information, due to the location of the proposed development site within the Brú na Boinne core zone. The development pertains to the construction of a five-bay agricultural shed, an overground holding tank and all ancillary site works. The site is located 1km from the banks of the Boyne River, 1km north-west of the megalithic cemetery of Knowth (ME019–030). Six test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed agricultural unit and holding tank. No features or stratigraphy of an archaeological nature were identified in the test-trenches.
