Test-trenching was undertaken in the area of a proposed borrow pit in the townland of Castlekeeran, Co. Meath, adjacent to the M3 Clonee to North of Kells motorway scheme. Six trenches were excavated over one field at 15m intervals with a combined length of 712m. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered.
