A programme of monitoring was carried out at Robertstown House in Robertstown, Ashbourne, Co. Meath, in response to the proposed extension and refurbishment of the existing dwelling on site. Monitoring was carried out during March and April 2007 and follows on from earlier monitoring carried out in 2005 (Excavations 2005, No. 1241). A continuous archaeological presence was maintained throughout all topsoil-stripping and subsurface works but, as was the case in 2005, no features or artefacts of archaeological significance were identified. Some finds of modern delph and glass were noted in the topsoil.
