A private dwelling located 90m to the north of St Patrick’s chair had twelve pre-development test-trenches cut. Besides the Rock Art stone, there is also an ancient togher and an early ecclesiastical settlement in the same general vicinity (MA097–005, 006 and 019). Nothing of archaeological significance showed up from testing.
