The proposed development site is located outside the eastern edges of the zone of archaeological potential for Termonfeckin (LH022–041) and lies 100m west of a tower-house (LH022–041(02)).
Seven trenches were excavated within the development site. The stratigraphy consisted of good-quality mid-brown silty clay topsoils underlain by a mixture of yellow/grey/brown gravel subsoil. Modern white ceramic pottery, a small amount of animal bone and post-medieval black-glazed local ware were noted in some of the trenches. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted in any of the trenches.
