Testing of two development sites at Doolargy, Ravensdale, Co. Louth, was carried out as a condition of planning permission. The development consisted of the construction of two dwelling houses and associated services on a greenfield site. The site is located within the constraint zones for two sweat-houses (LH004–125 and 126) and a ringfort (LH004–081). A total of eight test-trenches were excavated and no archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered.
