The proposed development consisted of the construction of two houses at Castlecourt. The site is located within the constraint zone for the historic town of Kilmallock (LI047–022) and the testing was carried out as a further information request. Two test-trenches were excavated on the site. No finds or features of archaeological significance were uncovered.
