Topsoil-stripping took place on three separate occasions (November 2006, March and July 2007) at Gortadroma landfill, Co. Limerick. The investigation revealed a number of isolated features including small pits, pot-boilers, hearths and the heavily truncated remains of a corn-drying kiln. None of the features could be associated or grouped and the dates are not yet established.
