Testing of a proposed dwelling house and associated services was undertaken at Ballintubbert, Stradbally, Co. Laois. The site is located within the constraint zone for a ringfort (LA019–013) and is within the same field as the monument. Three test-trenches were excavated on the site. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were uncovered in the test-trenches.
