This site was located within the N9/N10 Kilcullen to Waterford road scheme along Contract 2, Phase 4B, Knocktopher to Powerstown, within a 10m2 area in a field adjacent to the Kilkenny–Carlow townland boundary. Seven patches were identified; none of them were within cut features. The largest measured 2m by 1m by 0.2m thick and contained burnt-stone material. Two other patches were also composed of burnt stone. It seems likely that a burnt mound is located close by.
